Резюме
Александър Гершенкрон е сред най-влиятелните изследователи през ХХ век на стопанската история и икономическото развитие. Сборникът му с есета „Икономическата изостаналост в историческа перспектива“ заема ключово място в световната литература в областта на стопанската история. Тук са систематизирани две от главните идеи на Гершенкрон, които повлияват върху еволюцията на теорията на развитието извън нейния първоначален европейски контекст.
