Swiss Law on Bank Secret and Its Influence on the State Policy of the Country

The main thesis of the article is that the keeping and even developing of the principle of the bank secret in Switzerland is a main goal of the Swiss authorities and influences a lot the domestic and foreign policy of the country, as well as its relations with other countries. The first part of the study analyzes the bank policy before the World War II and the second part examines the time right after it, revealing the connection between these two periods.
